THE NGURUMAN, PINK LAKE & LAKE MAGADI OVERLAND TRUCK ADVENTURE

Background Information

Experience the Magic:

Embark on an extraordinary journey through the extreme Southern Rift part of Kenya, where captivating cultural heritage, pastoralism, and hidden gems await. Our Nguruman, Pink Lake & Lake Magadi Overland Truck Adventure unveils the splendor of Kenya's extreme South Rift, revealing landscapes rich in Maasai tradition, unique lakes, and awe-inspiring vistas.

Lakes of Wonder:

Witness the remarkable Lake Magadi, southernmost in the Kenyan Rift Valley, boasting soda-covered shores and a haven for wading birds, including the iconic flamingos. Adjacent to Lake Magadi lies the little-known Pink Lake, a pink-hued marvel created by salt and red algae. These lakes are part of a captivating mosaic of landscapes, showcasing the essence of the Great Rift Valley.

Captivating Escapes:

The journey takes us through the stunning Great Rift Valley, unveiling Nguruman Escarpment's beauty along the way. At Olkiramatian Conservancy, immerse yourself in a unique coexistence of wildlife and Maasai culture. Engage in a game drive, nature walk, or birdwatching escapade, all while surrounded by the picturesque backdrop of the Southern Rift's beauty.

Time Details:

An early departure at 6:00 am from Nairobi ensures a smooth journey amidst Langata - Rongai - Kiserian morning traffic.

Expect a 3-hour drive to Magadi via a bumpy and patched tarmac road.

Campsite Charm:

Our stay will be at a basic yet charming campsite in Nguruman. Enjoy tree-shaded spots and campfire banter, with an option to cool off by the Ewaso Ngiro River.

Unveiling the Wonders:

✅ Traverse the Great Rift Valley, with magnificent landscapes and sights of Mt. Olorgessaile.

✅ Revel in the spectacle of the Great Rift Valley, Nguruman Escarpment, Pink Lake, Lake Magadi, hot springs, and Ewaso Ngiro River.
