Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maralal via Laikipia
Early departure heading north on tarmac before hitting the red dirt roads of Samburu county to Maralal highland town.

Day 2: Maralal to Baragoi and South Horr
Descend into the arid valleys passing the sacred Mt. Nyiro. Set up mobile camp in South Horr oasis.

Day 3: Into the Furnace: Suguta Valley Dunes
Drop tire pressures and cross into the Suguta basin. Traverse the shifting red dunes and explore the volcanic badlands.

Day 4: Lake Logipi & Thermal Springs
Navigate the salt pans towards Lake Logipi, home to vast flocks of flamingos feeding in the alkaline waters.

Climb back out through the escarpment trails, navigating technical rock steps towards Lake Baringo.

Morning boat cruise on Lake Baringo to spot Goliath herons and fish eagles before the tarmac drive back to Nairobi.
