Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Iten (Home of Champions)
Drive through the Rift Valley ascending to Iten on the rim of the Kerio Escarpment. Watch paragliders launch over the 1,000m cliff drop.

Day 2: The Sambalat Switchbacks Descent
Engage low range 4WD and differential locks. Tackle the 32 steep rock switchbacks of the Sambalat drop down into the Kerio basin.

Day 3: Rimoi National Reserve Elephant Tracking
Explore Rimoi Reserve, celebrated for its unique herds of secretive savannah and forest elephants.

Cross the roaring Kerio River at Chebloch Gorge to watch local daredevil cliff divers. Ascend through the Kabarnet hills.
