ABOUT URBAN ESCAPE IV - KERICHO EDITION

After red soil and coastal breezes, we're heading somewhere completely different.

Urban Escape IV takes you into Kenya's western highlands — a region of rolling green hills, endless tea plantations, and a stillness that's hard to find anywhere else.

This is the easiest trip on our calendar. Family-friendly. Beginner-friendly. Every car welcome.

But like every Urban Escape, it's about more than the destination.

It's about the kids we'll visit along the way. It's about the stories we'll tell around the fire. It's about showing up — for adventure, and for each other.

WHAT AWAITS YOU IN KERICHO

πŸƒ Tea Country - Walk or cycle through endless tea trails. Watch harvesting machines glide over emerald bushes. Breathe air that's cooler, cleaner, slower.

🚣 Water & Wonder - A serene dam with a wooden jetty stretching into still water. Canoe, kayak, or row your way through an afternoon of calm.

🐴 Golden Hour Rides - As the sun dips over the hills, saddle up for a guided horseback ride through the fields. This is Kericho at its most magical.

❀️ Giving Back - We'll visit a local children's home — because every Urban Escape carries purpose. Time. Presence. A little joy for kids who need it.

πŸ”₯ Fire & Family - Camp by the dam under a canopy of trees. Bonfire nights. Nomad potluck dinners. Stories that last longer than the trip itself.

🌳 Hidden Gems - Explore a peaceful arboretum home to Colobus monkeys and 200+ tree species. Visit one of Kenya's most architecturally stunning cathedrals.

WHY WE DO URBAN ESCAPE

Urban Escape isn't about conquering terrain. It's not about pushing limits.

It's the trip we designed for families. For first-timers.

For anyone who wants adventure without the intensity. Easy roads. Comfortable pace. Kids welcome. All 4x4s and AWD vehicles are welcome.

But make no mistake — easy doesn't mean empty.

Every Urban Escape carries a mission: to show up for a community that needs us, to disconnect from the noise of the city, and to remind ourselves why we do this in the first place.

This is adventure with purpose.
