Kibo Safari Camp lies within the Amboseli National Reserve with splendid views of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.

Amboseli, meaning “salty dust” in maa, the language of the Maasai, is a place of stark contrast. The park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa.It is perfect for elephant lovers, since it teems with elephants and big Tuskers (elephants with enormous ivory tusks, which weigh more than 50 kgs / 110 lbs each)

Campsite Policies
Eco- friendly practices at the campsite?
Single use plastic bottles, straws, glass soda bottles and any kind of single use plastics are not allowed inside the campsite or park. Please bring your own reusable water bottles and straws.
Is noise allowed at the campsite?
Noise is not allowed at the campsite since it is located a few kilometers to the park. Noise disturbs the wildlife and may antagonize your fellow campers.
Does the campsite have electricity?
The campsite has 24- hour electricity.
Are cooking equipment's offered at the campsite?
The campsite offers a fully equipped kitchen with a freezer, chiller, gas cooker, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and full dining facilities. If you do not wish to cook, there is a restaurant that prepares food on order as well as a bar (for cold drinks) within the campsite.
Other activities offered?
Nature walks, cultural dances by Maasai warriors, and game drives at Amboseli National Park. Note: All this are offered at an extra cost.
Are pets allowed at the camp?
Pets are not allowed at the campsite.
What to carry?
Camping gear will be required. The campsite has facilities like toilets, showers, and water.
When is the best time to visit?
Amboseli National Park can be visited at any time of the year. It is however recommended to go in the dry months, which are from June to October and January to February.
